We drove a lot yesterday... I'm not sure exactly how many miles, but I enjoyed it enough not to care. Maybe that's just a sign of how I just sit around all day anyway. I had my laptop, iPod, DSi, etc. So it wasn't that bad. Then we got to the campground and swam in the pool. The pool was nice. It was actually different than I've seen before, it was circular, and got deeper towards the middle. Then we had dinner. I ate like ten slices of cheese, a hot dog, and a burger. And some spicy beans.
After THAT we went to Niagara Falls. I wasn't expecting it to be like it was. I don't know why I didn't think it'd be that crowded, but I was expecting like a little trail and then you go out onto some wooden viewing deck- No. It's probably because the only waterfalls I've ever been to are a tiny one that I swam in, and Moxie. There were huge viewing decks with thousands of people jostling to stare out at the water. It was beautiful, but I didn't exactly get a panoramic view. The ice cream we stopped for was good, though. It had, like, Kit-Kats in it.
We got back to the campsite, ready to sleep. There was a constant, really loud hum of crickets. I didn't want to sleep inside my sleeping bag, but I ended up doing it anyway, since it was cold.
Now we're getting ready, slowly, to leave again. I was a little annoyed yesterday at how disorganized everyone else inside the car was. I have two bags, which everything stayed in. There was other people's stuff all over me, and under my legs, and where the snacks were supposed to be. And when I tried to ask that people kept their stuff in their areas, everyone was all "Blahblahblah stop telling everyone what to do blahblahblah." Plus the arguing between my stepsisters, which I hope stops relatively soon. But overall, the trip is a success so far.
Hahaha. I love your blogs, Caleigh! They are a riot. I hope you don't get smothered to death under everyone else's junk.
